December
It's the cheerful, orange-red winter berries that make this easy-to-care-for plant so special, and indoors or out they add a great bit of winter interest.
Associated with the 70's, suburbia, and swingers, this grass is not my favorite plant, but can look good blowing in the wind, or in a nautralized evironment.
Do we dare hope that things are starting to warm up a bit? I've had enough of catalogues, dreaming, sorting tools, and staring at the snow and rain.
Planning a New Garden
I’ve been working on this garden for several years, and as it’s mine, its where I get to play! It’s my trial garden for new plants, a place for my favorites, and my general weird and wonderful collection of pots, cuttings, seedlings, and general gardening fun. Pics to be updated as the seasons go by….
A bright courtyard – a Highbury and Islington garden update. A small space with a wraparound staircase. Client asked for mixed pots, with climbers. We decided to maximise the space with climbers and trailers in taller pots. Most is evergreen, with spots of herbaceous perennials.
